Madison's 40 Days for Life prayer vigil is almost here! The prayer campaign starts September 23rd at 6:00 pm.

- Where: Planned Parenthood Abortion Clinic, 3706 Orin Road, Madison WI
40 Days for life is a national prayer effort which is sponsored locally by Vigil for Life. Madison will be one of more than 212 cities across 45 U.S. states, 5 Canadian provinces, and Denmark joining together for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history! Volunteers maintain a peaceful, prayerful presence outside local abortion facilities, 24 hours per day, for 40 days.

 Sunday, June 6, 2010 - Members of the Cathedral Parish in downtown Madison celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi today with a Eucharistic procession around St. Patrick's church. Msgr. Jim Bartylla, Vicar General of the Diocese of Madison, celebrated the 11 am Mass at St. Patrick's, and the newly ordained Deacon Jorge Miramontes gave a homily about how the Eucharist can break down division between people.

St. Ambrose Academy will present Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance this summer, June 4th and 5th at 7:30 pm. The event will take place at the Bishop O'Connor Center's auditorium. Bishop Morlino is back for the Third Annual St. Ambrose Academy Christmas Benefit Dinner and Auction on Friday, December 11. Cost is set at
- $75 per plate
- $400 per table of six
The evening features a silent auction, elegant dinner, live Christmas music, a spirited student presentation, and raffle. The night will begin with a cocktail hour and the opening of the silent auction. Guests may browse the silent auction while enjoying cocktails and hor d’oeuvres. Dr. John P. Milbauer, pianist, and the St. Ambrose schola, led by Marilyn Zipsie, will entertain guests throughout the evening with Christmas carols and other songs. Dinner, a humorous skit written and performed by St. Ambrose students, and a raffle of various gift baskets will follow.
